new
state law banning motorists from using their cell phones while driving through school zones took effect Monday, August 31, 2009. Our City Police have informed us that signs will be posted as they begin monitoring our school zones. In an effort to educate drivers, City Police will initially hand out warnings before issuing tickets. Let's obey the law and keep school zones safe for all children.
